We manufacture these oversize thrust plates so that we can achieve minimal camshaft thrust play.  These plates are ground to a  0.184" nominal thickness.
These plates are manufactured out of chromoly plate and hardened to Rockwell C30 for optimum life. Thrust plates are precision ground for optimal thickness. Please be aware that aftermarket thrust plates sold at other vendors are far too thin, which is why we commissioned the production of our own plates.
